30-Day Retake Lockout
After completing an assessment activity, you cannot retake it for 30 days. This protects assessment integrity by preventing repeated attempts in a short period.
How It Appears
- On your session detail page, locked activity cards show an info icon with a tooltip that reads: "You will be eligible to retake this activity on [date]."
- On your Flower visualization, the corresponding petal shows your most recent score in a locked state.
Why It Exists
The 30-day window:
- Preserves the validity of your most recent score.
- Prevents practicing the assessment to inflate results.
- Gives time for genuine skill development between attempts.
What to Do During the Lockout
If you have been added to a new assessment that includes a locked skill, you may have the option to Share Previous — using your existing recent score for the new assessment without retaking the activity.
If sharing is not available and you need to retake before the lockout ends, contact your administrator. Lockout overrides are uncommon and require administrative action.
