Adding Candidates

Once your job requisition has been created and PowerSkills are selected, add the candidates who will take the assessment.

Manual Entry

  1. On the job detail page, click Add Candidates.
  2. Enter email addresses, first name and last name. If you have additional candidates you can click the “Add Additional Candidates” button.
  3. Click the Save Candidates button..

Candidates are added with the status Pending and will not receive any communication until you send invitations.

CSV Upload

For larger candidate lists:

  1. Click Add Candidates and choose the In Bulk option.
  2. Download the CSV template to ensure correct column formatting.
  3. Prepare your file with email, first name, and last name columns.
  4. Upload the file. Ignis validates each row and reports any errors (invalid email format, duplicates, etc.).
  5. Confirm to add all valid rows.

Editing Candidate Information

To update a candidate's name or other details:

  1. Locate the candidate in the list on the job detail page.
  2. Click the Edit action on their row.
  3. Update the fields and save.

Removing a Candidate

  1. Locate the candidate in the list.
  2. Click the delete action on their row.
  3. Confirm the removal.

Removed candidates are soft-deleted; their data is retained for historical purposes but they no longer appear in the active list.
