Email Notifications Overview

Ignis sends several types of automated emails to keep users informed.

Types of Emails

  • Invitation (new user) — Sent when a person is invited to an assessment for the first time and does not yet have an Ignis account.
  • Invitation (existing user) — Sent when an existing Ignis user is invited to a new assessment.
  • Assignment notification — Sent when new activities are assigned.
  • Follow-up reminder — Sent to invited users who have not yet started their assessments.
  • Password reset — Sent when a user requests a password reset.
  • Weekly digest — Sent every Friday with a summary of recent activity.
  • Expired invitation alert — Sent to administrators when requests a new invitation after theirs has expired

Email Delivery

Emails come from the official Ignis sender domain (notifications@ignisai.ai). If you are not receiving emails, check your spam folder and ensure the Ignis domain is allowlisted in your email client or organization's email security tools.
