FAQ — Hiring Assessments
How do I create a hiring assessment? From the Dashboard, click Create Assessment and select Candidates. Complete the job requisition form, select the PowerSkills you want to assess, and add candidates.
Can Ignis recommend skills based on my job description? Yes. When you upload or paste a job description, Ignis will automatically analyze it and suggest the most relevant PowerSkills for the role.
How do I add candidates? On the job requisition detail page, use Add Candidates to enter emails manually, paste a list, or upload a CSV file.
How do I send invitations? Use the Send Invitations action on the job detail page. You can send personalized email invitations or copy a shareable link.
Can I edit a candidate's information after adding them? Yes. Each candidate row provides an edit action where you can update their name.
What is the difference between Closing and Archiving a job? Closing a job stops new candidates from being invited but keeps it visible in your active list. Archiving a job moves it out of your default list view to keep your workspace clean.
How do I export results? Use the Export action on the job requisition detail page or the action menu in the hiring list to download a CSV with all candidate results.
What do the candidate statuses mean? Candidates progress through Pending, Invited (email sent), In Progress (started), Complete (finished all activities), Incomplete (partial completion, no longer active), and Expired (invitation lapsed).
