FAQ — Taking Your Assessment
What is a conversational assessment? Ignis assessments are delivered as a guided conversation. You read the scenario context, respond in your own words in a chat-style interface, and progress through items toward completion.
How long does an assessment take? Each activity has its own time limit, displayed before you begin. Most activities take between 15 and 30 minutes. Plan to complete an activity in a single uninterrupted session.
What happens if my time runs out? The activity will end and your responses up to that point will be preserved. Depending on the assessment configuration, you may be able to request additional time.
Can I pause and resume an activity? Once an activity has begun, the timer continues running. Plan to complete the activity in one sitting. If you accidentally navigate away, you may be able to return — but the timer will have continued during your absence.
How do I view my results? After your activities are scored, your results appear on the My Skills (or My Assessments) page as a Flower visualization with detailed Skills Breakdown.
What does it mean when a skill is "locked" on my Flower? After completing an activity, you cannot retake it for 30 days. During the lockout period, the corresponding skill petal appears locked, and a tooltip shows the date you become eligible to retake.
