Teams vs Cohorts

Ignis supports two types of talent development groups.

Teams

Use a team when:

• You want to assess and develop a group of employees together.
• The participants form an actual or working team within the organization.
• You want results visible under the Talent Development tab.

Cohorts

Use a cohort when:

• You are organizing assessments by program, time period, or initiative.
• The participants do not form a single working team but should be grouped for tracking.

Both teams and cohorts share the same member management, invitation, and results features. The primary difference is in their organizational purpose and labeling.
