Understanding User Statuses

Each user in Ignis has a status that reflects the state of their account.

StatusMeaning
ActiveThe user has completed account setup and can log in.
InvitedThe user has been added and an invitation email has been sent, but they have not yet set up their account.
DeactivatedThe user's access has been disabled. Their data is retained.

How Statuses Change

  • Added → Invited — When an invitation is sent.
  • Invited → Active — When the user accepts the invitation and creates their password.
  • Active → Deactivated — When an admin disables the account.
  • Deactivated → Active — When an admin reactivates the account.
