Uploading a Job Description

Uploading a job description lets Ignis recommend the most relevant PowerSkills for the role.

How to Upload

In the job requisition creation or edit form you can upload a document containing a job description by selecting the file from your computer or dragging a file to the dropzone.

What Happens After Upload

  1. Ignis analyzes the description content.
  2. While analysis runs, the Skill Parsing interstitial appears.
  3. Once analysis is complete, the PowerSkills modal opens with the most relevant skills highlighted as recommendations.
  4. You can accept the recommendations as-is or modify the selection before saving.

Tips for Better Recommendations

  • Include specific responsibilities, required competencies, and day-to-day work in the description.
  • Mention collaboration, leadership, analytical, or creative requirements explicitly.
  • The richer the description, the more accurate the AI recommendations will be.
